Series of six miniatures, acrylic on paper, 35.8 cm 27.7 cm/each

The six miniatures represent recycled popular image of Adam and Eve (آدم و حواء) biblical moment preceding the divine order to leave paradise and the descent to earth, this image is usually printed on a large scale and sold in the souks in Africa and in Asia. 

The work deconstructs this image by separating its different layers where each of them holds one of the elements that make up the image. It engages with the social perception that is tied to this historical imagery. By dissecting the myth behind it, the work analyzes the relationship between man and woman since the origins, and the representation of this narrative in modern culture.
